LOOK Salon is nestled in the heart of downtown San Antonio on 824 Broadway St. While you might be scarred from previous parking misadventures in downtown, LOOK has a private parking lot with lots of space for all types of vehicles (no parallel parking needed here). I’ve also found myself walking to the nearby Make Ready Market and splurging on some home-made empanadas (perhaps one too many times).
While the surrounding businesses and vibe greatly aid the LOOK experience, what’s on the inside is even more revealing of what the owners of this business have tried their best to emulate: ambiance.

While all the aspects of LOOK mentioned above are superb, this makes LOOK top tier. LOOK makes the feeling of luxury a mindset. Over the years, they’ve attracted and recruited some of the state’s best talent. Founder Damian Gonzales III, a very well accolated stylist himself, has often told me he’s a “control freak” which might seem scary at first glance, but really means his eye for detail is near perfect.
This level of care is shared amongst all of LOOK’s staff, from highlights to men’s haircuts, LOOK dominates in their each of their respective fields. They pride themselves on having continuous education, stylist workshops and overall quality.
